Last month, Icelantic celebrated our 20th year in business (!). Most people that know Icelantic know that we are a product of a dream that Ben Anderson had when he was a wee teenager, and that myself, Travis Parr and Travis Cook (and so may more) brought to life (more than 20 years ago). To honor the past two decades, we created a book that captures some of the magical moments that have made Icelantic what it is today. This was a collaborative labor of love with reflections from our founders, athletes, investors, industry professionals and of course, artists. If you are a dreamer, a doer, nature-lover, entrepreneur, skier, interested in living a creative life, or if you simply enjoy pretty things, I invite you to check out “One Degree Celsius” (link in bio). I didn’t know it at the time, but I guess I needed to write a love letter to this brand for forging me into the woman I am today. Thank you to those of you who have supported us on this wild ride! Cheers to the next 20 years! Much Love.

A few weeks back we took a few days to celebrate life and family with some of our dear friends Ben, Anna, and Jack. Jack and Bella have been playmates since birth—and now they’re both 3! We met up in Michigan and set out cruising on Lake Michigan. Between a sailboat, the Mainship, and nights spent aboard in the harbor, it was truly such a special time. We slowed down, took each day as it came, cruised crystal-clear waters, splashed on secret beaches, fished without hooks, wandered through the cutest lakeside towns, and shared stories about the joys (and chaos) of raising little ones. Trips like this remind me how important it is to pause, embrace adventure, and soak up the beauty of the world with the people you love most. — @puremichigan @visit_charlevoix #puremichigan

Our veggie garden was shit this year. Apocalyptic droves of grasshoppers invaded and ate everything before there was even a chance of mid/late summer harvest. At first I was sad because Jack and I love spending time in the garden and learning all the lessons abound in the process. As autumn settles in now, however, I see it was a blessing. Instead of a disciplined “plant, water, tend, harvest” summer, we had a, “let’s go out and see what there is!” season, which involved lots of foraging and identifying plants (food and medicine) that surround us! Jack knows how to identify and pick ripe fruit from apple, pear, peach, plum trees and grapevines (all urban foraged), as well as how to identify and respectfully forage prickly pear, wild rose hips, sage, mint, arnica, juniper, the list goes on. We are learning so much together and it brings me such joy to teach him these skills, along w the underlying message: that beauty and nourishment are EVERYWHERE, we just have to look for them and know how to receive their gifts. My heart melts when he stops his Very busy body in the middle of a hike, to smell the Rabbitbrush, and show me the pretty flowers. 🥹 Motherhood is so cool. ❤️✨✨✨

From the first brave violets to announce their arrival through the thawing earth of mid-February, to a rose hip delight on an August afternoon hike, Jack and I make it a priority to eat (or drink) something directly from the earth every day. Some days it doesn’t happen, of course, and other days we’re using wild, foraged, and cultivated veggies and herbs to make a whole meal for friends or family. 🙌 Introducing him to the earth’s bounty has been such a joy for both of us, and my hope is that this will help him remember the abundance, in all life, care for his self, the land, and his people, and know how to identify nourishment and medicine wherever he is. Or, if nothing else, that he can find a snack pretty much anywhere! 🤠🤷‍♀️👍 I realize I’m a bit plant (and Jack) obsessed, and that I live on some beautiful, fertile land, but it’s really easy to plant some chives in a pot and put them in a window sill too! Cut a few off and stir them into scrambled eggs… voila! Connection. The more we can teach the littles (and ourselves) about Earths magic, the better off we’ll all be. In my humble opinion. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. I wish I could share these carrots with you. 🥕 😍✨ #snacktime #returntonature #teachyourchildrenwell✌🏼️

First festival in the books for Jack and I. *plus camping! ⛺️ 🙌 Thanks to all the family and friends (old and new) that held Jack while I danced or peed or enjoyed a water activity. And to all the musicians for serenading us day and night. 🙏 Such a beautiful community and weekend. ❤️ And how about The Fiddle Diddles!? (Last vid - sound on!)

6 Months as Mother and Child. ✨ I am loving this new role beyond anything I could imagine. It’s demanding and relentless, and the most beautiful, joyful, and mind-altering, heart-expanding trip I’ve experienced yet. I think Jack is enjoying it too. 🤠 So grateful for this opportunity and for our community near and far that are helping make it all the things. 🙏❤️🙏

Started the weekend with my oldest, bestest friends rock n rolling with The Boss, and ended it skiing with my sister and her family. With a lot of cousin and family love in between. ❤️ Feeling full and so grateful. ✨ (Sorry, Becca and Tony, our group pic didn’t fit in the box. Go figure) *yes, that’s lipstick on Jacks’s head. 💋
