2024 has been full of exciting moments and new challenges. I’ve really felt all the hard work over the years building and learning this craft has allowed me to take some big steps. I haven’t had an opportunity to update those following this account so here it goes! 1. I traded in 95% of my marketing contract work (after 5yrs of building a book of business!) for a chance to partner with three amazing, talented business people (one being my husband) in our very own media and marketing group - @haganrivas . This has always been a dream but only recently felt attainable. It’s been 3 months, and I haven’t regretted it for a second. Starting our own group has been so rewarding. Our clients are so incredible. 2. I’ve ventured into a few different sectors of photography - if you will. I still take opportunities through Ann Compositions for my photography outside of Hagan Rivas. One of my favorite new opportunities - I was invited to shadow a family while they had a funeral and celebration of life for their loved one. It was such an honor to take part in such a special day. I’ve since formed a connection with a local funeral home for when the need arises. More and more people request to have their loved one’s day captured in photos. Beautiful. 3. I’ve started learning more about video production to level up my reel and TikTok game. That’s been an interesting add on for content creation. If Q1 was any indication of how this year is going to go, I’m super excited for it.
