This past Sunday’s Opera Up Close concert with @annapolisopera was such a meaningful performance for me.
To reflect on a 20-year career with gratitude, appreciation, and yes — a little bit of pride — was an enormous gift. So many personal and professional milestones have been shaped by this incredible company and community of artists, and sharing that journey through music on Sunday meant more to me than I can say.
Thank you to kiercraig for being such an exquisite collaborator, to @annapolisopera for giving me a place to grow and blossom as an artist, and to my dear family and friends for cheering me on not just this weekend, but every step of the way. Your love and support mean the world to me. 🥰
We are all artists of our days, and every once in a while, we get the chance to pause and reflect on what a beautiful gift that is — to ourselves and to our community.

Colleen’s relationship with us spans nearly 20 years, and the program she has curated for this concert reflects her deep history with the company. From starring in roles such as Musetta in "La bohème" and Violetta in "La traviata," to winning our 2007 Vocal Competition, Ms. Daly’s program is shaped by her experiences here at Annapolis Opera.
She will be joined by Artistic and Music Director Craig Kier, who will accompany her on piano.
