Some highlights from my senior recital at the end of April :-) both performing and posting this have been an exercise in accepting that this is a snapshot in time of my playing. A lot of it isn’t perfect (and that becomes more and more apparent to me every time I watch the video…). I was still proud of how I represented myself (especially in my first ever recital!), put together a program that I believed in, and received tons of heartwarming support from my family, teachers, and peers.
Also a big shoutout to my amazing accompanist @alexshafirov who brought so much beautiful music to this performance, and also did an excellent job of making sure I didn’t come off the rails!!

I’m so excited to finally announce that I will be attending the University of Michigan this fall for my Master’s degree in Trombone Performance, studying with David Jackson!
I am so over the moon and grateful for this opportunity. I am also endlessly thankful to my teacher James Box, as well as my family for supporting me and championing me throughout this process. This gratefulness also extends to my wonderful teachers, friends, and anyone who has taken the time to hear me play or to give me good wishes for my success.
I’m literally jumping with joy from excitement about these next two years! Go Blue!! 💙

I am very happy to announce my graduating recital from McGill’s Schulich School of Music, which will be held on Thursday, April 23 in Tanna Schulich Hall! Admission is free and open to the public.
My program will consist of Eric Ewazen’s “Sonata for Trombone”, Guy Ropartz’s “Piece in Eb Minor”, Elizabeth Raum’s “Fantasy for Trombone”, Amy Beach’s “4 Songs, Op. 29”, and an arrangement by Caleb Hudson of the traditional song “Danny Boy” with my wonderful brass quintet.
This recital is the culmination of four years of learning and hard work and I would be truly grateful to see you all there! Livestream details will follow closer to the date, but the recital will be professionally recorded for those unable to make it in person!
