Just finished this Kaare Klint safari chair for my mum. 🪑✨🪡I sanded back the woodwork, remade the canvas and hand sewed the leather straps. It was trickier than it looks! This ‘simple’ chair 🤪 It was originally from the 1950’s and had been unused in a basement for many years. Pink 1950’s armchair, reupholstered with dusky pink wool and woven indigo fabric bought in Ghana. This was a tricky customer…. The construction of the chair was really unusual and I can see that my hand stitching is still a work in progress, room for improvement!
