I think a lot about the concept of time and what it can look like for different people. I think about the imaginary deadlines we create to convince ourselves that we are not where we need to be, how our lives can take a drastic turn at any given moment… but also our relentless desire to control time and the emotions we experience as we navigate it. Our timelines are seemingly the same but experienced so differently, and they are shaped by both joy and grief alike.
2017 was the year I experienced immense heartbreak after making a costume for a band and being told the night before the launch that I wouldnt be a part of it. I posted the costume anyway for myself, in tears, and the following year another band reached out to me in regard to the same design. Coincidentally
