Anna Galluzzi is a DFW based interdisciplinary artist and educator. While originally from the Texas Hill Country, Galluzzi relocated to DFW to receive their BA from University of Texas at Dallas and MFA from Texas Womanās University. They currently teach art at Tarrant County College and Texas State Technical College. Their work has been exhibited across the state of Texas at Cain Gallery at Del Mar College, The Boedecker, and Zona 7 Gallery, among others.
Utilizing mixed media, their work advocates for cultivating joy and coping with the present. They are heavily inspired by the Pattern & Decoration movement, suburban flora and fauna, and childhood whimsy.
THIS SATURDAY @easysidefw
SPUD Gallery at Easyside presents Ground Cover, an exhibition featuring the works of SpeedBump lil d co-directors Delaney Smith-Vaughn and Anna Galluzzi. Ground Cover explores the root building nature of connecting art communities across the DFW area through mixed media works centered around play and exploration. As long-term collaborators, Smith-Vaughn and Galluzzi unite around a common theme of joy to foster sustained community and are propelled by their inherent desire to create. By weaving disparate elements and depicting sprawling flora, the artists illustrate the imperfect growth of community.

Flowers For A Concurrent Beginning And Endš· exterior house paint on push boardš had a tough winter season and been simultaneously excited about my upcoming wedding to my love Alice, while also dealing with the end of life and death of my Mimi (and every other horrible thing happening in the world). Even posting this and knowing she wonāt be able to comment or see it as she has all of my other work hurts my heart. Hope everyone has been staying warm, love you allā¤ļø
