Remembering I am an aerialist 😮 Which might sound weird to some people. I am on Week 3 returning to my hoop after over 1.5 years of near to no training. In 2024 I was spending about 70% of my time doing physical training and got to a kind of happy-balance place with performing too...which all dropped to about 2% at the end of 2024 when I started full time as an aerial technician.
It's been HARD...just re-starting point blank...!... more mentally which has been an interesting process but just as much physically. Got a slightly different head on me...and a lot less self-pressurising. Hands are starting to feel good again and I think I am getting the old feels remembering what I love about aerial... and also get reaquanted with those old familiar painful bits.
Revising some staples here to get back in that grooove.😎
