I havenât played live with Anna Arco for a year now đ± Being in India and working on a new album are two obvious reasons. But itâs also because I made a conscious decision a couple of years ago never to do a gig again where I compromise my artistic and mental sustainability. Best decision ever actually đ€
Give it up for @agnesgrahns who layed down almost all of the backing vocals on the upcoming album. With incredible ears, immaculate timing and a voice of gold she turned the vocal arrangements into magic âšïž Such a luxury to get to work with one of my favourite voices and a dear friend.

It was an easy song to write but is a difficult song to sing for me. Sometimes I write a song where it feels like my voice and fingers on the piano are just tools for my brain to let out mantras that I'm in need of: do not fear grief - you're supposed to have it.

When my closest friend was in a coma that she would never wake up from, a mourning cloak butterfly flew into my bedroom. Itâs a fairly rare butterfly and I had never seen one before. It truly felt like it was her - coming to comfort me. Twenty-Eight is a song about what I believe she would have wanted to say to me that time.
