I wanted to shoot with those flowers for Years! Every year I’d see them blooming and remember that I failed to organise something and promise myself I’d do it next year… Do a whole flower series! This year the stars finally aligned despite my crazy schedule and I love how it all turned out.
One from the archives while I’m sorting my life out😂 This one was a total departure from my usual style of muted tones. I wanted to shoot with Chloe the moment I saw her. And I wanted to create something fun with a graphic feel. I had a chunk of old colorama I did a quick paint job on to create the background for this series and it worked out pretty well.

It’s funny where inspiration can come from sometimes…
Some of you may know there was an attempted break in at my building recently. I was woken up by a noise and when I looked out of the window, there they were- the NorthFace ninjas in balaclavas looking right at me in the dead of night. So surreal!
They scarpered. I came into my living room, lit a cigarette and glanced around. There’s my axe on the chopping block, a handsaw here, a blowtorch there, gas mask on the coat rack, three fencing swords and the nunchucks… you picked the wrong damn house boys.
Then two random memories sprung to mind.
1-Someone telling me that if you can’t avoid a baddie you just have to convince them you’re twice as crazy as they are... Easy, all the props are here.
2-That time a perv on tinder asked for a sexy photo and I sent him a shot of me in a fencing mask and a hooded coat. Needless to say he was never heard from again…
So I thought how I should’ve donned some bizarre attire and sneaked down the stairs to scare the crap out of my thieves. Hahaha! The idea tickled me no end.
What would it look like, that thing that would make a burglar instantly regret the door sprung open?

One of my favourite things about @fitm_festival is the amount of jams going on all over the place. It is so magical, wherever you go you hear wonderful music. Banjos everywhere!!! And I’m pretty sure I’ve seen the biggest group of fiddlers I’ve ever seen in my life playing under one roof… Bliss!
And of course… the vibes are high! You can see it in all the beautiful joyous faces all around you. I cannot wait to be back! Thank you @fitm_festival 🧡✨
