Character explorations of the creature from “Lila Makes a Monster” by @laurieelmquist@orcabook . The creature had to look like it was made from found objects in the house by Lila, yet still have a human like appearance. The initial approach was closer in direction to the classic look of Frankenstein’s monster, but we ended up with a softer, friendlier and more playful design that went better with the tone of the story.
