I feel so humbled by the process of making this extraordinary film - it was a beast of a project, and I’m endlessly in awe of the incredible team, both in front and behind the camera, and especially the post crew who poured their hearts into every detail, every minute of the way.

Annie Hall was the first screenplay I ever owned. I was sixteen, and remember it being the only thing on my ‘Christmas list’ (featured in the second slide). Having rewatched the film over and over again on DVD, I became obsessed with understanding what made it work - the rhythm, the dialogue, the bones of it all.
In actual fact, it was because of Diane Keaton - the first woman on screen who felt real to me. Funny, sharp, free, and utterly her own.
In between The Godfather, Manhattan, The First Wives Club, Something’s Gotta Give, and many more, Diane was always a magnetic and singular force.
Thank you for being the spark that pulled me in. 🕊️
