Standing on top of Smutwood Peak after a 19km hike, surrounded by mountains as far as the eye can see. When I finally reached the summit, I just stood there for a good 15 minutes, staring into the endless horizon… and honestly, I teared up a bit. Nature has a way of humbling you. 🏔️💭
And yes, nothing — absolutely nothing — tastes better than a cup of instant noodles after a long hike. The simple things really do hit different up there. 🍜🔥
We stayed until the sun dipped low and the mountains started to glow in soft evening light. The way back was filled with tired legs, loud music, and a few nervous jokes about bears — pretty sure we set a new personal record for hiking speed. 🐻😂
