"Slowly your stories and anecdotes seeped out, like the tannins released from tea leaves colouring the space between us. Mine spilled like a fish of mil that clouded instantly before blending into a consistent colour." It was during those mornings that Lianne berated me for running myself ragged, she had a backbone that I was envious of. "I was eager to please, accommodate, to be whatever the organisation wanted. You on the other hand were unapologetically difficult, refusing to run workshops because you knew how chaotic it would be."
