The dire wolf is coming back. Or is it? Dallas-based startup Colossal Biosciences is bringing back a species that has been extinct for 10,000 years, but they did it through advanced gene technology. Their processes for de-extinction are bringing up a lot of backlash due to conservationists arguing that it is a huge distraction from conserving species that are still around. Conservationists fear these tools will only be used for de-extinction instead of helping to save the millions of plants and animals that are going extinct. Will these tools remain open source for conversationists? We will have to wait and see.

The four-person crew has passed the mission midpoint and is preparing for Monday’s close approach to the Moon, where they will become the farthest humans from Earth. The astronauts remain focused on scientific observations of lunar features never before seen by human eyes.
It's happening! After 54 years, humans are heading back to the Moon.
On April 1st, four astronauts aboard Artemis II took off on a mission to the moon and will become the first people in decades to see its far side with their own eyes. This mission will mark a major step in NASA’s long-term plan to return humans to the lunar surface.
