A place of touch and matter The Anko Hellas pavilion is conceived as a spatial framework centered on how people experience and engage with material, tracing the journey of wood from its natural origin to its processed forms. The volume is defined by a solid, floating enclosure with perforated wooden facades that filter light and allow gradual visual connection, establishing a layered relationship between interior and exterior. At the core, a totem installation organizes the space as a point of encounter, bringing together different material expressions. Surrounding zones, including embossed wood panels and an interactive veneer display, are designed to support direct interaction, comparison, and close material exploration. Material reuse is integrated into mobile and functional elements, reinforcing both the spatial organization and the user’s interaction with the pavilion while maintaining a consistent material logic throughout the experience.
