Mona en Mark maken het huis van hun overleden moeder leeg. Terugkeren naar hun ouderlijk huis brengt heel wat gerief naar boven, zowel fysieke objecten als onverwerkte familiedynamieken. De vele kringloopvondsten die hun moeder verzamelde, brengen herinneringen mee. Tussen en in de spullen vinden ze facetten van hun moeder terug, maar ook van zichzelf. En van elkaar.

A drawing made for inktober, where I followed the prompt list of @cildevylder . Day 4: sleepy, made me think about the constant buzzing I was hearing the night before. Dreaming about the possibility of becoming a mosquito myself after all the bites, "Am I the mosquito now?".
Luckily I had some citronella on me.

In the beginning of the year I made a blank kalander and been using it to draw or experiment with something on it every month.
Been wanting to give these flowers/plants from my sketchbook some colour so this time I tried out these new markers I got. Theyāre supposed to be aquarel markers but donāt seem to work well with waterā¦ idk what thatās about š¤Ø
The colours are pretty tho!

Beelden van mijn masterproef op de eindejaarsexpo /graduation tour van @sintlucasantwerpen .
Voor mijn masterproef maakte ik Gerief. Een beeldverhaal over een broer en een zus die het huis van hun overleden moeder gaan leeg maken. De moeder verzamelde graag allerlei spulletjes van de kringloopwinkel die in het huis bleven rondslingerend. Voor mijn opstelling wou ik de sfeer van het huis met alle dozen en spullen recreƫren.
Dankjewel aan iedereen die is langsgekomen op de expo! :)
