“A concert tracing what we have loved about the American Dream, to where we are now, and the hope contained in coming together as community”
Looking forward to joining Vox Lumina on this concert with some Menotti 🎶📑

🎤 MEET ANJANI BRIGGS — Soprano. Advocate. Former competitive softball player. Yes, really.
"Vibration is what brought me to music and what keeps me here. The exchange of physical sound and ethereal energy amongst creators, perceivers, and spaces. I am dedicated to being part of this vibration that has the power to bring compassion and understanding to those who so rarely get it."
Based in Bellevue, WA, Anjani holds degrees from Western Washington University and the University of Michigan. She grew up studying Carnatic and Hindustani classical styles, fell hard for jazz and musical theater, and went on to perform roles in operas by Mozart, Granados, and Britten, all while championing composers who don't get nearly enough stage time.
On March 8th, Anjani takes the stage with Rising Waters Collective in Echoes of Her - a program built around devotion, defiance, and the very specific overwhelm of being alive right now. The repertoire spans a 16th-century mystic poet to brand-new works by Reena Esmail and Lisa Neher. It will be the kind of concert that reminds you why live music exists.
FREE to attend. Reservations required.
