A few years back I was going through some old Lego that my Mom kept, and among them was this giant figure (comparably - to a Mini-Fig). The figure has articulating joints, head that turns, a helmet, 2 skis, and a ski-poll (the other lost in some sand box, puddle, or mound of dirt many years back - I like to imagine). The figure seemed fun, I couldn’t remember what it was or where it came from… But, I wanted to see it dance. I was watching a lot of dance vids on the gram at the time, the sync’d couple dances being my fav… So, for this to work I needed another one, internet, etc… found a friend on eBay. Turns out it’s a ‘Technic’ fig - I bet I knew this info at one point in time… Anyway, my friend Martin over at @OXX has been painting toys, so I got him involved, and here’s where we ended up. When J Rowe shared this project with me and asked if I wanted to be involved I was beyond thrilled. Whatever creative outlet he chooses to feed grows in the most beautiful fashion, and this latest project stays true to form. MISSANT is an absolute beast of an LP. I was so happy to get the chance to develop the type treatment, and eventually do the physical package layout & design. Check it out…. A carousel of images.
