Bringing together 18 ceramic and printmaking artists from across the world, the exhibition reflects on insects - their intelligence, beauty, and their essential role in sustaining life.
Sentience of Small Beings - A lovely project with the wonderful @nau.livinglabs that I enjoyed immensely, showing at the NAU Foundation, Baroda till 5th October.
Elemental 'Panch Bhuta' : Earth | Fire | Water | Air | Space!
Part of the sculpture exhibition in 2024 organised by ICAF held at The Kanoria Centre for Arts, Ahmedabad.
Lost in Folds:
These landscapes of loss take a closer look at the
remaking and reshaping of the Aravalli mountain
range and the conflicts it engenders for the more-
than-human ecologies.
Treading a delicate balance between control and the
lack of it, these works begin as blocks of clay, worked
upon through layering, stretching, incising, pressing
and throwing - mimicking the geological stresses that
have shaped this land over many millennia. The
layered constructs of its complex beauty now
extensively marked with ecological precocity caused
by capitalist appropriation. They reflect scars of
anthropogenic activities such as unplanned mining
and stone quarrying that puncture aquifers, disturb
natural water flows and shape new disaster
landscapes in the process.
Every crevice holds stories of erasures, of water, soil,
species and cultures – the residues of a withering
world. It is not just the land is broken, but more
importantly, our relationship to it that lays broken.
This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the diverse talents of ceramic artists from across India.
If you’re not an ICAF member yet — this is the perfect time to join the community!

Step into Jawahar Kala Kendra with Seeds of Remembering, where the Aravalli Hills whisper stories of resilience and renewal. Through seedpods foraged from reclaimed urban forests, the artist transforms nature’s remnants into totemic objects—guardians of memory and hope. As these forms intertwine, they challenge us to rethink our relationship with the land, urging us to sow possibilities for more inclusive and regenerative futures.
