Animalesque for Broadway 🎭
As well as finding the perfect aesthetic combination of character, fabrics, colour and texture for these theatre headpieces, the build and structure needed some adaptation to stand out on stage and hold up under the immense strain of the dancers wearing them for months of back to back shows.
The whole process of collaboration with costume designer Loren Elstein and the team, and the opportunity to utilise my theatre costume experience again was immensely rewarding and such a joy. I loved every minute of it!

I’ve been enjoying letting the sunshine and colour flood back into the studio, and have been making more silk ruffle collars ready for Summer 🌞🌈
Each one is pieced together from vintage sari silks I found whilst exploring markets in Gujarat last year - rich pinks, oranges, blues and turquoise, with little glints of gold.
Finished with tassels, embroidered trims and hand-plaited silk ties… easy to throw on, and make every day outfits feel a bit more special ✨

Studio 2 is OPEN!
It’s been a long time coming - a dream we have always had as sisters to open up a shop and sell what we’ve been creating.
Well it’s finally happened after a couple of months of making our studio into a shop space with limited diy skills!
The space is a working studio Monday to Wednesday and officially open as a shop on Thursday to Saturday 10am - 4pm.
