Speaking to these 7 & 8 year olds has been my most meaningful speaking engagement thus far. I come from the same non-privileged backgrounds like them and when I was 8 years old, a cool, successful black girl speaking to my class would have actually changed my life.
For my successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, lawyers, doctors etc, look into how you can get involved in your community. 2 hours of your time can make a whirlwind of impact for less privileged students.
