But thatās the funny thing about this job. The āworkā is what the world sees, but the human stuffāthe stuff that actually changes youāhappens in the quiet moments in between.
For me, this job will always be about Nur. He didnāt just drive me to set; he made sure I actually saw where I was. He took care of me when I was thousands of miles from home.
The paycheck is great, but the crying-at-the-ocean-with-a-stranger-turned-friend? Thatās the real renewal.

Rachel Feinstein is headlining (sheās incredible), Lisa Correo is featuring (and yes, sheās my best friend and ridiculously funny), and weāve got food + open bar.
It all supports Gildaās Club, which provides free support for people going through cancer and their families.

I got hit by a bus in Barcelona.
Likeā¦ literally. Not the expression.
(thatās a story for another time)
I really thought I had the surgery and recovery part handled.
Iāve been through enough that I figured I could move through this quickly too.
Turns outā¦ not exactly.
As an actor, being forced to pause is hard.
But Iām learning thereās a part of recovery you canāt rush.
And this one humbled me a little.

I was just looking at this photo and thinking about this jobā¦
I actually knew when I booked it that I was the first female Master Chocolatier theyād featured in a commercialā
and since then, I still havenāt seen another one.
Which still kind of blows my mind a little.
At the time I was honestly just focused on doing the work and being presentā¦
but looking back, it means even more to me now.
My best friend @lisacorrao has joked for years about cutting out this photo and taping it to the back of the Lindt chocolate truffles at the storeā

Honestlyā¦ I wouldnāt be mad about it.
Really grateful I got to be part of thisā¦

I went to Sundance and didnāt see a single movieā¦ but I did see my future self. āØ
Park City was a blast with @serdariusblain & @TopShelfGetAways . Sledding, panels, communityājust no movies. Everything was sold out from day one! But hey, I was there to soak in the vibeābeing in those rooms was the real win.
I even ended up at a basement concert where T.I. performed! I partied, yesābut true to my momās advice, I left at 2 a.m. sharp, took a bath, and called it a night!
I borrowed clothes from amazing people (grateful I didnāt need to buy snow gear for 2 hours), made friends, and pushed past my comfort zone. I wasnāt there as a spectatorāI was there to meet the version of me who belongs. And guess what? I found her. š
