Huge thanks to @crossingani_ for recommending me the Samsung monitor. With the built-in KVM switch and thunderbolt display, I could still keep a clean setup while incorporating my work laptop into the space.

Quick little look of how the setup is looking so far.
I got some new speakers since my $10 one finally gave out, along with a new @keychron M6 wireless mouse that I got from @mechanicalkeyboardscom . It’s a little big for me, but I have small hands. It fit my husband’s hands pretty well!
I started my new wfh job this week as a nurse practitioner, you can see in one of the slides where my work computer now sits. I had to move my PC off the desk and onto a new ikea drawer.
I’ve been trying to journal more too, after being inspired by @type.bea posts. My last entry was from a year ago when I started my last job…the time skip is kinda hilarious LOL.

Out of the box, it sounds crisp with the aluminum plate, but I’ll be adding more foam and changing it to the FR4 plate to see if I can get it to sound creamier. Stay tuned for that!

Kintsugi: Japanese art of repairing broken pottery using lacquer mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, highlighting rather than hiding cracks.
It means rather than hiding the damage, it highlights repairs, honoring flaws as part of unique character. Finding beautify in imperfection and accepting change.
I wanted to hang this Rebirth print from @houseofkoyomi in my office as a reminder that it’s okay to make mistakes in our lives and step away from perfectionism. All of their prints are so pretty, it was hard to choose!
These go so well with our aesthetic, we may end up getting more for the house! 🤍

A small update to my current setup: added a rug! I’ve been wanting to add one for forever and can finally do so after kicking my hubby out of the office lol.
I also got a new @osumekeys classic desk mat in pale lilac, and it’s sooo pretty! I was hoping for more purple, less hints of blue but this fits the lilac dreams theme perfectly. If you haven’t seen my story the other day, I spilled my matcha on this mat by accident, but everything came off and not a stain in sight! Definitely worth it.

Finally got my hands on the @wobkey1 Crush80 Reboot Pro!
The reboot version basically upgraded their quick release structure and improved the internals a bit. There’s also this accent lighting on the sides, which makes for a nice underglow. The version I got is unique to @mechanicalkeyboardscom since it features a non-flex cut pcb.
For $175, you’re getting the keyboard, a lot of spare parts, aluminum plate AND additional FR4 plate, cloth bag, IXPE pad, carrying case…so much. I feel like you’re getting a good deal on this with the amount of stuff they provide.
There’s multiple color options. I ended up going with the warm silver, and it’s just beautiful. It reminds me a little of how First Light looks on the Evo75, but less beige. This is honestly such a good keyboard, especially if you want a one and done keyboard.
