Yesterday would have been my mother’s 69th birthday. After 10 years, I finally got to visit her grave, and felt every emotion I’d held inside.
I like to think she’s somewhere peaceful, free from pain, still watching over me. I hope I’ve made her proud. Her love, her art, and her beauty live on through me and everyone she touched.
