Tonight was the premiere of my very first feature film. We shot it almost two years ago! Gotta say, it never gets old seeing myself on the big screen. Here’s to Destiny 🥂
Lovely performances by these talented actors

I truly love working with such talented and professional actors! Thank you @angelfreiling for bringing Vanya to life and for being part of this film 💜 I can’t wait to film this 🙏🎬✨🙌
Learned so much on set today. First, this photo that @jacksonmagnabosco took is my new favorite. @andrepresume , the director taught me about the importance of lense choice. @torey_wickes taught me how to throw and catch a ball…ha Didn’t know that was a requirement for my role. Much gratitude to the talented ppl that I worked with on this.
This week I worked on the most exciting production yet! A lot of intrusive thoughts have been running through my mind over the past year. Not good enough, too old…blah blah blah. It’s really not like me . Usually have an F IT kind of attitude, thank you Carla Howey for that. Got back up, gave myself tons of grace, restarted slowly working on projects with people that I love and respect. Just want to remind you, that we all go through the fire from time to time. It’s ok to take some down time, adjust yourself, but for the love of God, get back up and move again. So many more magical moments are waiting for you on the other side.
This was one of my first in person acting classes in over a year. You know that feeling, when you’re fully present in a scene and everyone else in the room disappears from your perception? Ah man, that’s the feeling I chase. Pure Magic! It just doesn’t happen for me over Zoom the way it does being in person….sharing the physical space and exchanging my energy with a scene partner. Wes & Seth were so fun to break down a script with.
I’ve been working tirelessly to bring myself to the roles that I play. It really comes down to spending time with yourself and digging deep into who you are in your day to day experiences.
What are your so called flaws, oddities, inner beauty, mannerisms…how do you walk into a room full of ppl you love and adore, compared to ppl who trigger anxious thoughts? How do you move from one destination to another? What are the inner thoughts that you wouldn’t dare speak out loud?
Amanda walked us through the incredible book A Challenge For The Actor by Uta Hagen, whose process I adore. We used a step by step guide to work through these challenges. Did I ever discover myself…wow!
Thank you for asking all the questions, Amanda. Expecting justification for the words and movement to create a more authentic experience.

Highly recommend
Treating acting as it’s meant to be moving forward. Yes, it’s my job but it’s also my light within a challenging week, connection to other artists and has been my playful escape from the invisible wounds that I’ve collected throughout my life.
The secret to dropping the masks, is to drop your ego and accept yourself fully. Your audience will see it, don’t try so hard😉🫶😘
