This is my mom. And she's an incredible human. She came from nothing and learned to make things happen with little. She lost her parents in her twenties shortly after I was born. She dedicated her life to creating a loving home for me and my family. She's creative. She's smart. She's a super woman. My hero. She gave me the courage be different. To embrace change and opportunities. To love unconditionally with no expectations. To give more than I take. To trust myself. To love and protect my sisters. To dream big, persevere, and to try again everytime I failed. She's taught me that it is okay to be vulnerable at times. She's grounded me to appreciate the simple things in life. She's my inspiration to keep going when things get rough. She's always encouraged all my crazy ideas. And reminds me not to take life too seriously and to have some fun. To be happy. Most of all, she's given me my good taste in food. Oh yes, she's an incredible cook. The past year has been tough without being able to be physically next to my parents. I can't wait to embrace my mom and be fed all the amazing meals as soon as we are allowed to travel again. Thanks for bringing me to this world. Happy mother's day, and happy birthday to us. 💐💐💐

It's been over four years since a kitten named Nako came into my life. It was only going to be for two weeks but the former owner decided that she no longer wanted him back. She asked me if I would keep him, so I did and changed his name to Chestnut. 🌰 Chestnut because he is rough on the outside but very warm and fuzzy on the inside. 🌰 He's been the silent fluffy bundle of joy that continues to test my patience in exchange for countless morning cuddles, bunny kicks and afternoon nap companionship.
