“River” 2026

Imagine sitting in a slow flowing river on a warm spring day, the water slightly colder than body temp and only a foot or so deep. You lay back and submerge yourself, your back flat against the river bed. Pause for a moment and let the water move around you, the slightly cold water brings you to the present moment, holding your breath you suddenly feel every ripple, every current… the flow of the earth. Still submerged you open your eyes, it burns but the sun is looking back at you and you suddenly remember where you are, connected and part of the greater everything. Nothing is separate.
This one is for Chester.

Appropriately titled by Craig, today it feels more relevant than ever, art has a funny way of speaking to you whenever you are ready to receive it. Two years later I’m listening fully.

Thank you to everyone who came out to my show, this body of work was a year long journey for me. It became a place where my unconscious and conscious minds could meet and I suddenly found myself standing at the threshold of all my insecurities with the opportunity to heal. Authentic and intentional work never lies when you lean in and listen, that’s a lesson I’ve been able to apply to my entire life.
