This project with Breathe Architecture was never about starting from scratch. It was about respecting the existing structure and bringing it back to life — then layering in new work that feels considered, not added on.
We introduced sustainable hardwoods and veneers, refined the detailing, and used colour blocking to tie old and new together. The joinery sits quietly within the space, but every line and junction has been resolved with intent.
Proud to have delivered the full joinery package on a project that proves you don’t need to rebuild to elevate.

The workshop is humming along right now. We’re in the final stages of a fantastic collaboration between @heckerguthrie + @pcoffeebrewers + @westmarkbg in one of Melbourne’s best preserved heritage buildings. A true honour to showcase our work alongside such an iconic building. More to come over the next couple of weeks.

Made from beautiful spotted gum, this joinery really comes alive with the spring light pouring through, creating those soft, dappled shadows across the leather seat.

For this stunning home, we created custom joinery in a black-dyed natural timber veneer, finished with a clear matte coating for depth and texture. The island bench, a bold statement piece, features a two-pack painted finish and was seamlessly formed on site by Mortadella Terrazzo.
