The last time I did a year of blading was May 9th 2016 until May 9th 2017 (my sobriety anniversary: #bladeeveryday1yearsober ). Toward the end of that project I started saving clips, and by mid 2018 I decided to release this section as a VOD to raise money for addiction-related charities. I've put together dozens of sections in 26 years of skating, and I think this is the best so far.

Little #HurricaneCessSlide session, got a few that I quite like today.
The first ever hurricane cess slide trick I ever learned was royale inspin hurricane 540 to backside nugen (3rd trick), and I think this is the nicest one I eved landed.

I like this clip a little more, except my kid is annoyed in the background, instead of cheering for me like the other clip 😂
Anyway, I think I'll take a break from skating every day for a while, but I'd really like to get out and do some more street skating soon. It's hard to get out, especially to film without anyone else to skate with out here, but I think I'll make a point of getting out more often.
390 days in a row skating, and I haven't fallen apart just yet, even at the ripe old age of 40. I sure was fat a year ago 😂 glad I did this for that if no other reason.
