Recent guest @andyjamesfraser visited 3tynespodcast HQ to talk about his new album, White Feather - eleven finely crafted songs and stories about the North East in a finely crafted CD package. This bonus episode features three of those songs. We had so much to say, we carried on talking at the excellent @the_garden_hexham and paid a visit to Ben at @thevaulthexham . The album is out on June 1st - check out Andy’s socials for more.

"Andy Fraser is Sunderland musician and singer-songwriter. Andy’s songwriting is inspired by the history, folklore the changing cultural fabric of Sunderland and the North of England. Andy’s musical compositions and instrumental style are heavily influenced by American traditions from finger-picking country folk and blues to those of the Appalachian mountains, as well as British Country Folk. At the core of Andy’s songs are powerful, original lyrics reflecting his observations of local contemporary culture and local characters.
Andy’s new album, ‘Rustbelt Town’ creates a musical journey travelling from Wearside and the North East to the USA and back again, exploring Sunderland’s past, present and future."
