Had a great day of LA culture with Rebecca’s mom visiting. Saw the incredible Great Wall of Los Angeles mural, which more people should know about, then some Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev with the LA Phil at Disney Concert Hall. LA is great. #mydayinla #mural #classicalmusic #laphil #losangeles
Made our first visit to @shambalapreserve to see the mountain lion I “adopted” for Rebecca as a Christmas present. Her name is Ramona and they said she’s shy, but she didn’t seem to mind us watching from a distance. Our other favorite Shambala resident was an elderly tiger named Willow, who was not the least bit shy about letting us watch him eat.
This big cat sanctuary is less than an hour outside L.A. and pretty great. The staff is wonderful and animals are clearly well taken care of. If you love cats I highly recommend checking them out and supporting them if you can. These are cats that can’t be rewilded so this is a great home for them.
