My first scientific paper! 📝
We used state of the art ground penetrating radar technology to map the underground burrows of the critically endnagered northern-hairy nosed wombat - something that has never been done before. This research will help promote the conservation of the species and go a long way to help determine future translocation sites to areas where this wombat has become extinct since European settlement.
Special thanks to @australianwildlifeconservancy , @wombatfoundation and Subsurface Solutions for supporting the project.
Green Gully Track - Thungutti Country 🌿
5 days, 65 kms 🥾
Nothing like living simply, getting the heart rate up and feeling connected to nature for a few days out bush. Highly recommend this hike with remote cabins (therefore no camping), and exclusive to only your group each night. This track had an abundance of wildlife, pristine wilderness views and picture perfect swimming holes.

Thanks to @christine_mgr_ for the invite up to @bushheritageaus Yourka Reserve to assist with the fauna survey. Was fun to get the old gang back together with @errush also joining the team.
