@majikisreal opens the door to that space. Taken from his upcoming EP Between Worlds, the track reflects years spent avoiding parts of himself in order to keep the peace — until that strategy quietly collapsed. “I spent years avoiding parts of myself to keep the peace, until that stopped working and I had to face patterns I’d ignored and let go of an identity that no longer fit. The song isn’t about dwelling on the past,” he shares, “but about recognising the power it can have over you and taking responsibility for change. Writing it felt like a necessary reset, a way of acknowledging what was there without staying trapped in it, and moving forward with a clearer sense of who I am.”
