I went to see a great gig at Llyfrgell Maindee Library on Saturday night (Ida Wenøe and Samantha Whates) and caught a quick glimpse of my swallows in the evening sunshine.
I still love them 😍
This is part of a 9 metre long mural in Pontypool, sponsored by artREGEN. The mural is based around the proud iron and steel industry that Pontypool was famous for.
I love painting dragons, and I hope that it shows with this fearsum beastie.
This is all painted with rattle cans and I got totally lost in adding all the gnarly details.
The whole design will be completed tomorrow. The light is dreadful down there, but I'll endeavour to get a good shot of the whole thing.
I've loved painting this in the middle of town. Everyone and their dog has stopped to chat and say some kind words. Everyone has made me feel very welcomed.

I feel pretty privileged to be painting this mural and getting to be the first to stay in the newly refurbished Big Blue horsebox @safaricornwall . It's nice to wind down in a huge hot tub after an exhausting days painting, surrounded by nature.
This mural was painted, largely in the rain, over a couple of days using spray cans and a smidgen of oscillating multitool. I've wanted to try an Alphonse Mucha inspired piece for a while.

Here are the results of one of the amazing Lightpainting workshops at King Henry VIII school Abergavenny.
Amazing pupils who were super switched on.
Don't forget I'll be doing this at Upfest on May 30th at the Beer Factory

A selection of fabulous images of our ‘Maindee Gateway Garden’ taken by our good friend and photographer, Ian Agland.
Almost a year has passed since we created this well loved community garden in Maindee. A truly collaborative effort involving @aprilhousegardens@jglandscapingltd@andy_orourke@simonprobynsculptor@reseiclo_rescuedwood and all our wonderful Greening Maindee volunteers.

Making content, because that's what you're supposed to do apparently!
But yes, I actually do love this job.
Big brushes, lots of paint. Spreading it around all the walls, loose and quick, experimenting with washes and painterly techniques.
It just feels like play every day. 🙂

Sometimes my job involves polishing turds.
It's a real pleasure to turn this grubby corner of Pill Park into a work of art.
As always in Pill, loads of people stopped to chat and thank me for brightening up the place.
During Easter I had some lovely young people come and stop and watch. One girl in particular was a very keen budding artist and was soaking it all up. A lovely thing to see.
In this mural I painted cala lilies, because it's the Pill Harriers emblem.
The Chaffinch, and hawthorn blossom are just because I love them.
The Rowan berries and leaves were a last minute addition and they symbolise protection and ward off evil. I've also used and anti graffiti glaze which might also ward off evil 😉 #pillgwenlly #muralartist #streetart
