4 tips for finding the hidden spots â
1. Go on Google maps and explore between destinations that you are interested in seeing. Find places that are 30-45 minute drive or more from the major areas.
2. While weâve got maps open, search key words for types of attractions you would like to see. Some of my favourites are âwaterfallâ âravineâ âsurfboard rentalâ
3. When youâre on the road, try to plan some nights without a booking so that you can roam in between towns and find a little airbnb or stay in a place that catches your eye. Most days on my bike trip I didnât have anything booked and Iâd book as late as 11pm sometimes!
4. Follow travel creators who go off the path to find more than what is pushed by the immediate consumer market. You can start here with me đ
You probably donât realise it but youâre leaving a lot on the table. You get one chance to maximise your potential and one of the limiting factors that you might be facing is a confidence issue.
Itâs easy to condition yourself into social comfort where you donât push yourself to make new friends or engagement with strangers at all. And in our new technological age, itâs become even more easy to disappear from conversation with strangers.
looking at my life, 99% of the opportunities that I have found have come from putting myself forward in some regard.
Think about this one for yourself, when is the last time you have initiated a conversation or made a new friend that wasnât just handed to you? Are you attracting the type of people that are suited to you or are you taking whateverâs handed to you?
Maybe Iâm wrong. But if you agree with me, maybe itâs time to change something đ

Located off the north western coast of Italy on the Mediterranean Sea, Cinque Terre is a famous destination for beautiful Italian sightseeing. It is argued that the five tons of Cinque Terre are being overrun completely by tourism, this makes the Summerâs extremely busy and the winter is excruciatingly deserted.
This type of cycle is seen all over Europe in major tones one other notable town I visited with the exact same issue is the old town of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Another thing that these two places have very closely in common is incredible cliff jumping spots. Come along and see.
