Jen with her painting ‘Door to another world’ which is included in The Open:Odyssey exhibition at Hastings Contemporary. She made this work to help process the trauma of witnessing the drowning of a man who was swimming near to her on Holy Well beach in Eastbourne last September. It resonates strongly with the theme which is about the sea and between journeys, and has consequently received a lot of attention.
Fantastic set by Tortoise, with lovely support from Jeremiah Chiu & Marta Sofia Honer at The Barbican last night. Good to catch up with some old friends too.
