Some not so terrible shots from last year’s Hyrox mixed doubles.
Felt like I missed out this weekend at Hyrox Brisbane.. definitely next thing on the list after Gold Coast mara 🫱🏽🫲🏼
Nothing like the stillness of the morning.. broken by your feet hitting the ground 🏃🏽♂️
Track session this week:
500m x10 @3 :50/km, 30s recovery walk.

I’ve always been hesitant to share more photography stuff on here, it feels like it doesn’t really fit.
But let’s be honest.. I don’t post much anyway, so I may as well share some of the things I shoot for fun.
This has to be one of my favourite things to do - going somewhere with no plan, just my camera.
Walking around, observing what’s around me, looking for ways to capture it.
Sometimes the photos are captivating and tell a story.. sometimes they’re terrible.
Either way, it always leaves me feeling recharged and inspired.
So amongst the fitness and lifestyle content, I’m gonna start sharing more photography.
Some of the pics I took on my last day in Thailand 🇹🇭
A few from the first few days in Thailand 🇹🇭
Interesting start to my trip was meant to come on Monday, flight was cancelled and pushed back to Tuesday.
Landed in Phuket and my suitcase was still in Sydney 🤷🏽♂️
It’s been fun though, great to switch off for a bit and be surrounded by likeminded people at CB Fitness first retreat.
Bad Bunny DTMF World Tour - More than just a concert.
It was a chance to get closer to my sister.
To celebrate her. To celebrate us.
It was thousands of people singing in Spanish at the top of their lungs.
A place that didn’t feel like Australia for a few hours, it felt like home.
Being born in Colombia and moving to Aus at 13, I grew up between cultures.
Old enough to have already formed a strong sense of who I was.
Young enough to have that identity reshaped by a completely different world.
A confusing place to live as a teenager.. not fully here, not fully there. Just somewhere in the middle.
You don’t realise how much you miss the feeling of belonging until it hits you all at once.
And when it did.. it was overwhelming in the best way.
It was euphoria. It was love. It was happiness.
It was seeing my sister smile.
It was yelling lyrics we love and are close to our hearts.
It was feeling proud of where we come from.
There’s something powerful about being surrounded by people who speak like you, move like you.. who understand the rhythm in your bones without explanation.
For just a few hours, nothing else mattered.. Not work, training or any problems.
Just music, connection and presence.
Gracias 🙏
