Annual post came early this year.
But anyway I decided to start a video/passion project a while back. It took me longer than I expected but if you'd like see more of what it's about and follow along the journey, then feel free to follow @the.unwonted
Texas was dope. Here's a freestyle I took while I was there. Forever a work in progress.
.
I chose the Dr. Seuss background because I feel like this is the beginning of many adventures. Hence the "Oh the Places You'll Go" in the background. How corny right? Shoutout to @dusteeen for recording this. Hit him up and follow him if you want some professional work done. He only charged me like $50 and a taco for this. Jk.
.
On a side note who's trying to go on the next trip? And where to?
I got lost in Japan...ese gardens. In Portland. Cause the song is Lost in Japan. And I'm in the Japanese gardens.
Annnnyways freestyling in this video made me realize 1. I never knew how difficult it was to dance in front of a camera and 2. It's even harder when you're in public and people keep passing by. There's nothing in particular that I really liked about how I danced for this one, but I did step out of my comfort zone and had fun with it and that's all that really matters right? Shout out to the patience of the person behind the camera @autobata_ who took multiple takes because I didn't like how I was dancing. And also to the kind stranger @padraicomeara who asked to take these dope photos of me!
Finished this piece at 6 in the morning the day before we taught it. But enjoyed the creative process with the homie @js0ul and the outcome of the piece. Still working on executing bigger with my movements. But for now watch us mess up our own piece.
Messing up all over the place and didn't get to execute it exactly how I wanted to but whatever. It's a piece in the works. Here's my first piece/post in a really long time.
