Great day in the studio yesterday. Nose studies in the morning and a fun afternoon sitting with @k.a.y.a.p.h.o.t.o and her husband Matt. Ate snacks, made scribbly drawings, cranked 2010 indie rock, and took some pics for serious work later on. Big thanks to Kaya and Matt for a great hang!

I’ve decided to work on some drawings because my paintings take so long to finish and I need the satisfaction of getting some pieces done while the paintings slowly develop. This #wip is about two sessions away. Riffing loosely on Manet’s “Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe” with this one.
