Jinglhaus is excited to present “Baglicker” by Indy’s Silverfish. Fronted by Gary Martinez, this new project and its inaugural label release marks the first in an upcoming series of blistering rhythmic noise and melted machine funk. Recorded live, these caustic excursions slam 1’s and 0’s through silicon until you can almost smell the burning plastic.

Get ready for Free Form Visuals! Our featured guests this month are @andrewlaszlo and @leontoddjohnson ! Im super pumped for the awesome ambient sound scapes of these two artists.
This month will be our first workshop. From 8pm-9pm we will be hosting a video editing workshop. Im going to focus on low computer resource and free options out there to get people started editing. If you have a project you’re working on bring it in! I’m well versed in a variety of video editors and even taught a video production class at Purdue last semester. I would love to bring that to you especially if it gets people making videos. We will be charging for workshop time. This workshop is $5 and future ones might be priced different.
After 9pm we will be back to our normal free video and music night. Hope to see you there!

In lieu of a release show, we will be premiering the video for “Crash Test” at this month’s @__visual_vibrations__ on the 23rd where we’ll have some tapes and lathes available to snag early.
“Label operator Andrew Laszlo makes a return to Jinglhaus this time with a collection of hardware jams mixing raw house & techno, and in some moments extending into ambient and Industrial territory. Inspired by and dedicated to his car, this tongue-in-cheek concept pays homage to countless hours listening to mixes on its stereo system, the good and very bad.
Utilizing a lean setup consisting of a sampler, poly synth, modular, outboard reverb, and an old Mackie mixer, Laszlo stripped down his creative process in an attempt to get the most out of a few machines and capture in-the-moment performances.
Although the bare bones ethos of early house music serves as the foundational influence for this collection, pulling the auditory threads reveal traces of Chris & Cosey in the bouncing melodies and persistent bassline of “Luxury Compact”. Further exploration reveals Since the Accident-era Severed Heads coaxed out of razor sharp sample manipulation on “Crash (Remix)”. EP single “Crash Test” steers the release into the techno realm with its driving kicks and bit-shredded reverb howls. Ultimately, these exercises aim to be equally enjoyed from the dance floor or on the road.
Recorded live with minimal overdubs.”
