SKUSA ProTour Rounds 1/2 - 5 days in the desert, telling stories. Stories off the track are equally important as the ones on it. Loud moments, quiet moments. Pretty pictures are good, but in service of a story makes them great.
A year ago- I knew nothing. Not SKUSA, not GFC, not Sodi. I didn’t know the names Turney, Norberg, Drew or Kart Chaser.
This race is the culmination of my first year in documenting motorsports in which my only goal was to get better. Each day of every race. To be great, not just good. What a year it’s been.
That feeling to come out on top. Champions of the Future America crown their first race winners at K1 Circuit with GFC/Formula Works taking the top stop in every race it fielded competition under the banner.
20 frames won’t describe the breadth of work I was able to make this past week. The consistent pressure I kept on to make a better photo snap after snap. I always said, “the best photo is one I haven’t made yet”.
These 20 are a tiny snap shot of my first time at SKUSA SuperNationals.
