around town with @18eastofficial . wearing their surplus combat smock + tenner 5 pocket jeans. shot on film by my good friend @aaronwynia
thankyou @adamjoe for the lookout! we wearing 18 east all year long 😎
the world’s smallest chain stitch machine. found this made in usa 1950s ‘singer sewhandy’ at an antique market and couldn’t believe how good the build quality was (despite originally being marketed as a children’s toy).
now the real question: what should i make using this? 🤔
Toronto-based designer, Andrew Won, is paving the way in utilising reclaimed materials by taking old workwear and outdoor garments to transform them into thoughtful, conversation-starting pieces.
The exclusive collection by Andrew Won is now available only at Gallery HBX.
recently sat down with @hbx to speak about my creative process, working in the industry, and what I’m excited about ahead of my capsule dropping exclusively at @galleryhbx .
feeling grateful to share a space with so many designers I looked up to growing up. link in bio for the full interview.
special thanks to @marcotsang_ and the HBX team for the constant support and trust 🙇🏻♂️

wrapped up another camping season with @helinox 🏕️ snuck in one last trip and got to try out some of their latest gear. lightweight, easy to pack, and super durable. 10/10!
packable running vest made from the iconic tom sachs exploding poncho. reimagined the fanny pack the poncho was originally housed in as a detachable storage unit - now snapping onto the vest or used as a traditional fanny pack. this was a fun concept/pattern although not sure how the extra storage would sit in motion 😅
closer look at the apron i made from a seat cover. decided to go with this base material due to its light weight + durability. features include a large lower pocket, chest pocket with snap closer, adjustable neck strap from the original seat cover, and snap-on mittens.
my first custom jacket and it’s from @thewanderingwit . we used end-of-roll gore and based the pattern off a classic coach jacket.
notable features include hidden pockets along the chest and side seams, articulated arm and cuff, a snap collar that can be worn up for more coverage, and my personal favourite - internal pockets positioned lower on the liner for easy usage while the double zip is up :)
closed my chapter this month at arc’teryx after 4 incredible years. beyond grateful to have highlighted the talent here in the city and create alongside such an inspiring community. can’t believe my job was to make cool things with all my friends 🥹
to new beginnings!
