En route to Jacksonville from the Aloha Choral Festival in Honolulu, I had the pleasure of interacting with Christopher Peterson, a former doctoral student who is now a full professor at Cal State Fullerton. Equally enjoyable was visiting with Tina Peterson and adjudicating and conducting a clinic with her choir. Fantastic having time with Bruce Rogers and his wife Robin. It was delightful visiting with Joshua Haberman. Now it is time to prepare for the very long flight home. Thanks to Maia Tomich for the invitation to be on the faculty! Farewell, beautiful Hawaii.

Yesterday, with plane problems, rebooking, and four different airports, flying all day I arrived in Seattle. Now in the Delta One Lounge waiting for my flight to Taipei. Life is good, just tired.
We bid farewell to Wynter and Papa yesterday. We are experiencing a degree of melancholy but are eagerly anticipating our reunion with them in Seattle in December.
