I was quite proud of what I was able to achieve despite the sleep deprivation from the overnight shoot which is when I tend to be the most emotionally closed off. But I jumped into the challenge and with the help of the great cast and crew, it was a reminder that some of the biggest obstacles are in our own minds.

Thank you to @shizuka_a_play for giving me the opportunity to act out my lifelong dream of playing a samurai. I am so grateful for this role that has challenged me in so many ways: first stage production, first time performing in front of my friends and family, first time doing stage combat, first lead role, first time learning mannerisms and dialogue of a different culture and period. But it has pushed me in so many ways to grow as both an actor and a person. I had a lot of self doubt but I'm glad I faced my fears and have learned so much from this character. I've greatly enjoyed working with the cast and production team, and no matter what happens in the future, I'll always remember all the different emotions we made our audiences feel. It has been an honor to play one of Japan's most famous samurai, Yoshitsune of Minamoto.
