#CPMA26 | ✨ We are happy to welcome back flutist André Cebrián to our wonderful team of instructors for the CPMA26! 🪈 After last summer’s successful course, we could not be more grateful to him for returning to Chios! 💫🎶 André is the Principal Flute of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. His first orchestral experiences at the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), the Britten-Pears Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester led him soon to perform with such orchestras as the Sinfónica de Galicia, Filharmonía de Galicia, Sinfónica de Tenerife, Orquesta de Cadaqués, Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana, Orchestra Mozart, Nacional do Porto, Staatkskapelle Dresden and Sinfónica de Asturias. He performs regularly as a Guest Principal Flute with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, BBC Scottish, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Philharmonia Zürich, Spira Mirabilis, Sinfónica de Castilla y León, Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, Sinfónica de Barcelona (OBC), Gran Teatro del Liceu, Malaysian Philharmonic and Orchestra Leonore. He is not only an experienced orchestral musician, but also a passionate chamber musician. When not playing in the Orchestra you can find him performing with the wind quintet Azahar Ensemble, the Natalia Ensemble – a symphonic ensemble which he founded and where he is the artistic director and arranger – or in one of his duo projects with pianist Irene Alfageme, harpist Bleuenn Le Friec, or guitarist Pedro Mateo González.
