5 years ago I entered my first image competition on a whim, won 2nd place in my category and since then I’ve been blessed to have nearly 50 awards across 3 competitions. Since winning my 1st award, my goals has become winning in each and every category.
This year I submitted 4 images, in the @myiconawards and all 4 images were awarded. Including 1 image in a brand new category, Creative Portrait. Which not only checks another category off of the list but was my highest scoring image of the competition.
Unfortunately, this is the first time in 5 years that I have not been a finalist in any of the categories that I entered. Contrary to my motto, “If you’re not first your last” (LOL). I am celebrating all wins, not just the big ones.
