♠️A nice recap of our Texas trip. It was the best of times! Thanks to all our friends and to our manager Paolo Pagetti for making this possibile.
♦️The song you can hear in the background is a cover of Paul Westerberg’s “it’s a wonderful lie”, we recorded it at Mark Del Castillo’s home studio in Buda, Texas.
♣️ Playing Texas was a blast and we hope to be back in the future; the clubs, the people, the food, the landscape… everything.
♥️ A live album is coming! Can’t wait! I don’t know if it will be available digitally, but a limited edition vinyl pressing is on its way to be produced! Cheers!
Been doin’ stuff in the studio again with my new band @song_of_the_lizard (follow this page!!!) this weekend.
It felt good to play music with these guys and revisiting 6 old classic songs I used to play with my former bands (VCC, Fuzz Resistance and Humulus) was a breath of fresh air!
To celebrate the arrival of this new band I’m reprinting 3 old 7”, with three original songs on the A sides and three covers (Bo Diddley - Bo Diddley, Black Widow Spider - Dr John, Obscured by Clouds - Pink Floyd) on the B sides.
Cool stuff, huh?
Song of The Lizard’s new album will be a “live in the studio” recording, as I said before, a breath of fresh air.
