This is the second single release from my @vossajazz commisioned work from 2022.
It feels like climbing a steep mountainside, where you need to take several breaks along the way (represented by the brief rubato sections that gather the energy to push forward). At the top, you are rewarded with the calming view—a moment of blissfulness that makes all the effort worthwhile. But the song could just as easily be about climbing your inner mountains: undertaking something difficult because you feel compelled to, even if you don’t know the purpose, whether you’ll succeed, or if there will be any reward in the end.

This is the first single release from my @vossajazz commisioned work from 2022. Its inspiration comes from travelling through scandinavian landscapes of trees and water in different forms. It’s also called krusninger/ripples because even the smallest little thing can make a change.
