Last week we lost our incredible grandma, Jojo.
She loved hosting, cribbage, creating her Santa’s, and traditions. Freshly lit candles before guests arrived. A full table. A place that felt warm the second you walked in. Summers in Pointe au Baril, winter dog walks in Toronto. And she always had time for her 16 grandchildren, giving us the best gift, our friendships!
some things she taught us:
. Always light fresh candles before company arrives
. The more the merrier
. Nothing good happens after midnight
. The difficult we can do at once, the impossible may take a little longer
. A party is always a good idea. Theme? Even better

I think I like this retreat thing…
I started the day needing a pep talk to go because I was feeling like I didn’t deserve to be there and I ended it being asked to be on a panel about imposter syndrome and how I get over it. It’s funny how the world works.
